The Investigation — Step by Step

1. Arrival and Chat

We start by meeting the property owner or contact person to talk through what’s been experienced, the history of the property and places where we can and cannot film.

2. Checking the Basics

Before any “spooky” work begins, we do a full walk-through to look for ordinary explanations — like loose floorboards, drafts, or pipes that make noises. It’s amazing how often natural causes can mimic something paranormal!

3. Setting Up Equipment

We use a mix of video cameras, audio recorders, and environmental meters (like EMF and temperature sensors). Everything is positioned carefully so we can monitor different areas at once.

4. The Quiet Watch

Here’s where patience comes in. Once the equipment is running, we settle down and observe — quietly. We take notes, listen, and let the environment speak for itself. It’s calm, focused, and sometimes a little uneventful… but that’s how real evidence is captured.

5. Doing the Experiments

We will undertake experiments such as The Estes Method, Spirit Box conversations, EMF readings, trigger object and response encouragement, motion detection and rem-pod experiments.

6. Reviewing the Evidence

After the investigation is over, we spend hours reviewing the recordings, checking each moment carefully. We always look for natural explanations first — that way, anything left unexplained is genuinely worth talking about.

Real investigations are about patience and respect — not constant action. While TV shows compress hours of waiting into a few dramatic clips, our nights are usually calm, steady, and sometimes even relaxing. But those quiet moments are when the most interesting things can happen.

But there’s laughter, teamwork, including sitting in the dark, whispering to empty rooms, and getting excited over creaky floorboards, the occasional “Did you hear that?” moment. It might not be thrill-a-minute stuff, but when something happens, it’s unforgettable.
